Meredith Johnson is the author of the award-winning children's book, Just Momma and the recipient of the 2022 Maryland Independent Artist Award for Literary art.
She’s been in love with reading ever since she was a little girl who begged her mom to stay up late so she could read the huge stack of books sitting next to her. Meredith believes it's an honor to write for children to help their imaginations and world perspectives grow. She hopes children find their own adventures hiding within her stories. When she’s not writing, Meredith can be found on a beach somewhere with a book in her hand listening to the waves; traveling to somewhere deep within her own imagination.
