Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is the story of the Skywalker family that spans from Phantom Menace to The Last Jedi. The story follows Anakin as an enslaved child of Tatooine where he is found by Qui Gon and brought into the Jedi Order to train. From there it follows Anakin and the rest of our beloved Star Wars crew such as Obi-Wan, Padme, R2-D2, C-3PO, Palpatine, Leia, Han, Lando, Rey, Finn, BB-8, and Poe on all of their grand adventures. If the reader is a fan of Star Wars, then this story will offer nothing new. It follows the movie story line exactly, which I believe was the intention. My favorite part of the book were the illustrations. They mimic the movies well, while giving a new life to the characters. I recommend this book to any Star Wars fan who would like to follow the Skywalker journey at a slower pace by reading their story instead of watching. But I also recommend this to any new fan of the series for the same reason. Perhaps the method of reading can better connect them with the characters. Then follow up with the movies because they're amazing too!
